Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on his official Twitter account addressing topics ranging from cultural engagement to federal funding and partisan disagreements.
On March 19, 2026, Crane posted about meeting with Miss Navajo Nation 2025-26, Camille Uentillie. He wrote, “Had the opportunity to sit down with Miss Navajo Nation 2025-26, Camille Uentillie, to discuss her priorities during her one-year term as a Goodwill Ambassador. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the good work being done to promote their language and culture.”
Later that day, on March 20, 2026, Crane questioned an unspecified policy or action in another post: “Why in the world would we ever allow this?”
In a subsequent tweet on March 20, he criticized Senate Democrats over Department of Homeland Security funding: “All because Senate democrats feel the need to appease their radical base by refusing to fund the Department of Homeland Security. It’s always America last with them.”
Crane has served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran and currently resides in Oro Valley. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane is now 43 years old.
