Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing issues of accountability, government funding, and federal emergency response.

On March 29, 2026, Crane commented on recent news stories by stating, “I don’t think these stories are surprising to most Americans. What would be surprising is if we actually see some accountability.”

The following day, on March 30, 2026, he expressed gratitude towards the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), posting “Thank you, @FEMA. “

Later that same day, Crane criticized Senate Democrats regarding Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding: “With the exception of John Fetterman, Senate Democrats do whatever Chuck Schumer tells them to do. They are still refusing to fully fund DHS.”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
