Quang Nguyen, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 1st District since 2021, shared updates on his professional background and recent public appearances in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) between September 20 and September 22, 2025.
On September 20, Nguyen reflected on his career in industrial design and firefighting products. He wrote, “Friday stuff – I spent 11 years in the firefighting products industry… I got into industrial design in the early 90s, self taught of course. In 2001, I was asked to design the look and feel for this hotspot detector for firefighters. Quite a bit of math involved, but I pulled it”.
The following day, Nguyen posted about his participation at a political event in Prescott, Arizona. On September 21 he stated, “Speaking at Yavapai County Lincoln Reagan Trump Dinner this evening with my House seatmate @SelinaBliss at Talking Rock Ranch, Prescott, AZ.
Speakers in the following order: US Rep @RepEliCrane , Sen Finchem, Rep @SelinaBliss , me, @KTaylorRobson , keynote @nedryun”.
On September 22, Nguyen shared a biblical passage from Matthew: “Matthew 6:14-15: ‘For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins'”.
Nguyen has served as state representative since being elected in 2021 to succeed Steve Pierce as part of Arizona’s legislative delegation for District 1.
