Quang Nguyen, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 1st District since 2021, shared several personal reflections and observations on his social media account on September 9, 2025.

In one post from the early hours of September 9, Nguyen reflected on family memories associated with the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis. He wrote, “What a glorious view. My wife and I were lucky enough to have this view many times during Sarah’s four years at Annapolis (‘17 – ‘21) ️”.

Later that morning, Nguyen posted about a notable local landmark. At 04:00 UTC he stated, “Yavapai County Courthouse. Bob Larson Photography.”

In a tweet published in the evening of September 9, Nguyen expressed an emotional response to an unspecified event related to crime. He said, “This is heartbreaking. If you ever wonder why I’m hard on crime… This is rough on me personally.”

Nguyen has represented Arizona’s 1st House District since replacing Steve Pierce in 2021.
