Quang Nguyen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2021 representing the state’s 1st House District, posted a series of updates on his social media account detailing upcoming events and recent activities.

On September 5, 2025, Nguyen announced an event for local sports fans: “UAB at Navy Where: Pudge & Asti’s 721 6th St, Prescott, AZ 86301 When: Saturday, September 6th, 12:30PM TV: CBS Sports Network”.

The following day, he shared a summary of his legislative work during the week. On September 6, Nguyen wrote: “A quick weekly review: Tuesday through Friday with 7 in person meetings at the House and 1 zoom call, covering water, DOC, Israel, gun rights, education, and lastly a gift from General Dynamics Electric Boat, a very thoughtful gift that I will proudly wear. GO NAVY!!! Tomorrow”.

Also on September 6, Nguyen posted another message stating: “The female version of the Polish CEO. Gonna be an ugly weekend for Karen.”

Nguyen succeeded Steve Pierce as representative for Arizona’s District 1 after being elected in November of 2020. He has been active in legislative matters related to water policy and education since taking office.
