Quang Nguyen, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 1st House District since 2021, recently used his social media platform to share legislative updates and personal recommendations.
On March 11, 2026, Nguyen announced the passage of a bill in the Arizona House of Representatives aimed at protecting residents in health care facilities. He stated, “Protecting the vulnerable adults: 40-15-5 passed out of the House of Representatives. HB2914 allows residents of health care facilities, such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities, to install electronic monitoring devices, such as, cameras in their rooms to enhance”.
Two days later, on March 13, 2026, Nguyen offered advice regarding gun rights. He posted, “2A recommendation: Keep your gun rights for life by simply not doing stupid . I walked into Mazy’s a couple days ago and walked out with this “.
Later that same day, Nguyen highlighted an initiative supporting deployed military personnel. He wrote on March 13, “RED is an acronym that stands for Remember Everyone Deployed. R.E.D. Friday was created to remind people of our heroes overseas and show that we are thinking of them. People across the country wear red every Friday to serve as a reminder and spread the message of how important it”.
Nguyen has served in the Arizona State House since his election in 2021 after replacing Steve Pierce as representative for District 1.
