Quang Nguyen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2021 representing the state’s 1st House District, posted several updates on September 27, 2025, regarding his participation at the Gun Rights Policy Conference (GRPC).
In his first post that day, Nguyen shared an image from a panel event: “Fireside Chat at GRPC, from L to R: Utah, Arizona, Montana, with moderator Mark Walters.” (September 27, 2025).
Later in the evening, he expressed appreciation for the conference and one of its primary organizers: “Thank you, GRPC and the Second Amendment Foundation.” (September 27, 2025).
In a subsequent post, Nguyen highlighted his interaction with legal scholar Mark Smith. He wrote: “With Mr 2A scholar himself at the 2025 GRPC, @fourboxesdiner Mark Smith. Looking forward to your presentation.” (September 27, 2025).
The Gun Rights Policy Conference is an annual event organized by groups such as the Second Amendment Foundation and brings together activists and policymakers from across various states. Nguyen succeeded Steve Pierce when he was elected in Arizona’s legislative elections in November 2020.
