On August 18, Nguyen referenced George Orwell’s classic novel with the statement: “Today we mark the anniversary of George Orwell’s Animal Farm, first published in 1945. More than just a story about animals, Orwell’s work is a timeless warning about the dangers of unchecked power, corruption, and the betrayal of ideals. Nguyen succeeded Steve Pierce as representative for Arizona’s 1st House District after being elected in 2021.
