Quang Nguyen, a Republican elected to the Arizona State House in 2021 representing the state’s 1st House District, posted a series of messages on September 10, 2025, expressing strong views on criminal justice reform and public safety.
In one post made at 13:04 UTC, Nguyen wrote, “This is criminal justice reform. Be careful the next time you walk into my office to lecture me about criminal justice reform. https://t.co/x6aJG3qW6X”.
Later that day at 15:56 UTC, Nguyen posted a prayer invoking Saint Michael the Archangel: “Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl https://t.co/obYD7nFMW6”.
At 22:01 UTC on September 10th, Nguyen added another statement regarding violence and firearms: “FACT: We have the guns. They have all the shooters
FACT: They don’t shoot to intimidate us. They shoot to kill and they finally did it.”
Nguyen succeeded Steve Pierce as representative for Arizona’s 1st House District in 2021 after being elected as a member of the Republican Party.
