Quang Nguyen, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 1st House District since 2021, posted several messages on social media honoring law enforcement officers and offering prayers for military families in early February 2026.
On February 5, 2026, Nguyen addressed the loss of two Arizona Department of Public Safety officers in Flagstaff. In his message he stated, “We honor and remember the two Arizona Department of Public Safety officers who tragically lost their lives in Flagstaff yesterday. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting our communities will never be forgotten. We mourn with their families, loved ones,” (posted February 5, 2026). Later that day he added a brief tribute: “RIP heroes.” (posted February 5, 2026).
The following day, Nguyen offered a prayer for parents with children serving in the military. His post read: “Heavenly Father, we pray for parents with children in the military. Grant them peace when worry weighs heavy, strength when days feel long, and comfort in knowing their children are never alone. Protect those who serve, guide their steps, and bring them home safely.
Amen.” (posted February 6, 2026).
Nguyen has served as state representative since being elected in 2021 to succeed Steve Pierce as representative for Arizona’s 1st House District.
