Quang Nguyen, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 1st House District since 2021, shared several personal reflections and legislative updates on his Twitter account in early January 2026.

On January 5, Nguyen posted a message outlining lessons he had learned. He wrote: “Gooood morning. Back to work. Three things I learned:

1) The only thing you can give to God is your sins. Everything else you have was given to you by Him

2) Make changes not to be a better person, but to be closer to God

3) Always remember the 11th Commandment https://t.co/hJBOGrR4lp“.

Later that same morning, Nguyen posted another brief update: “I’m having a good morning. https://t.co/LXvgdeGCiG” (January 5).

On January 6, Nguyen highlighted recent legislative action regarding transnational repression. He stated: “Arizona signed my Transnational Repression bill into law to handle these CCP thugs https://t.co/ErLRc14Le9”.

Nguyen has served in the Arizona State House since his election in 2021, succeeding Steve Pierce as representative for the state’s 1st House District.
