Quang Nguyen, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 1st House District since 2021, shared a series of posts on August 29, 2025, addressing topics ranging from international relations to personal safety and religious invocation.

In one post made at 16:20 UTC, Nguyen wrote: “CCP is the enemy https://t.co/jHNcep2GjG”. Later that day, at 16:39 UTC, he posted a prayer invoking protection and guidance: “St. Michael the Archangel, mighty defender of God’s people, we call upon your strength and protection. Stand beside us in times of trial, shield us from evil, and guard our hearts with courage and faith. Be our guide and protector, that we may walk in God’s light with steadfast https://t.co/zTvltW2HSq”.

Addressing an incident involving law enforcement at 20:46 UTC the same day, Nguyen commented: “Sovereign citizen pulled a gun on a police officer and lost. The SC survived the shooting. What the hell is wrong with these people? https://t.co/yv6rvNq5px”.

Nguyen was elected to his legislative position in 2021 after succeeding Steve Pierce as representative for Arizona’s 1st House District.
