The City of Prescott has announced the availability of its 2024 Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) for public review and comment. The CAPER is a yearly requirement that outlines the city’s progress on goals and outcomes related to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs.

According to the city, the report details primary activities and programs, demographics, resource allocation, affordable housing efforts, initiatives for homeless and special needs populations, actions addressing fair housing barriers, lead-based paint awareness measures, institutional structure, and monitoring activities. Officials noted that moving annual reporting online through sub-recipients has improved efficiency in tracking outcomes.

A 15-day public review period is mandated by the CDBG Citizen Participation Plan. “All comments from the Citizen Advisory Committee and the public will be submitted along with the CAPER to HUD (US Department of Housing and Urban Development),” according to city officials.

The report is available for review from August 25th through September 9th, 2025. Residents can request a copy by contacting the CDBG Grant Coordinator at 928-777-1205 or by visiting either the Prescott Public Library Information Section at 215 E Goodwin Street or the Community Development Department at 201 N Montezuma Street in Prescott.
