Prescott announces event sign-ups, seminars, and infrastructure updates for residents

The City of Prescott has announced several updates and opportunities for residents as of September 9, 2025.

Local businesses and organizations are invited to explore sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming Prescott Airfest. Interested parties can call 928-777-1114 or email city officials for more information.

Residents interested in water conservation can join a virtual seminar about the city’s water rebate program. The session is scheduled for September 12, and attendees can join by visiting the city’s website and clicking on the “To Learn More” link. Pre-registration is not required.

Applications are now open for participants in this year’s Veteran’s Day Parade. Questions and completed applications should be directed to Michelle Stacy-Schroeder, Recreation Services Administrative Supervisor, at (928) 777-1121 x4501.

In recognition of Library Card Sign-Up Month, community members are encouraged to obtain or renew their library cards. They may do so by calling the Ask-a-Librarian Desk at 928-777-1526 or visiting the local library.

Information about ongoing construction activities within Prescott is available through a project hotline at (928) 237-3114.

Updates on major infrastructure projects such as effluent and wastewater pipelines, as well as State Route 89 improvements, can be found on dedicated project websites accessible through the city’s main portal. Meeting agendas and packets are also available online for public review.
