On December 10, 2025, Rep. Crane shared an update regarding discussions with Tom Buschatzke, Director of the Arizona Department of Water Resources. He wrote: “Earlier today, I received an update from Tom Buschatzke, Director of the Arizona Department of Water Resources. We focused on the status of negotiations between Upper Basin and Lower Basin states regarding the Colorado River, as well as several tribal water settlements.”
Later that day, he highlighted his engagement with local constituents: “Great getting to visit with #AZ02 constituents Brenda Astor and Ana Vargas, who are both employees at Resolution Copper. Appreciate all they do to strengthen the economy in Gila County.”
