Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on August 27, 2025, highlighting his community engagement and commenting on public safety.
On August 27, Crane shared his recent visit to a local nonprofit organization: “Yesterday, I had an opportunity to visit the team at Prescott Meals on Wheels to learn more about their work in Yavapai County.”
Later that day, he posted a brief message with the hashtag for his congressional district: ” #AZ02″.
In another tweet from the same afternoon, Crane questioned the state of safety in Washington D.C.: “Then why is DC suddenly so much safer?”
Crane was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd District following the 2022 election cycle.
