Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently used his social media platform to share updates on key legislative actions and votes.
On March 18, 2026, Crane announced his support for legislation impacting outdoor enthusiasts: “Today, I voted to support the Protecting Access for Hunters and Anglers Act. This bill safeguards the use of lead ammunition and tackle on federal lands, which everyday hunters and anglers rely on. It also helps preserve conservation funding generated by these activities. #AZ02 https://t.co/n5ZPdwtuIH”.
Later that evening, he referenced another vote related to fiscal policy: “Today, thanks to @RepAndyBiggsAZ, we voted on an amendment to the Constitution of the United States requiring a BALANCED BUDGET for the federal government. Only one democrat voted yes.” On March 19, Crane followed up with criticism of Democratic leadership: “Democrat leaders urged their members to vote no. Think about that. A simple balanced budget amendment. https://t.co/FGmCaOsWIK”
Crane has served in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023 and represents constituents from Arizona’s 2nd district. Born in Tucson in 1980, he currently resides in Oro Valley.
