Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district, has recently used his social media platform to comment on Congressional priorities and the national debt.

On August 27, 2025, Crane posted, “Let’s get to work.”

The following day, he addressed concerns over federal spending and fiscal responsibility in another post: “It would be nice if Congress would start acting like we’re $37 trillion in debt. That sad fact should be at the center of every decision we make.” This statement was made on August 28, 2025.

Also on August 28, Crane highlighted his focus on his constituency with a brief message: “Delivering for rural Arizonans.”

Crane has served as the U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since 2023, having succeeded Tom O’Halleran that year. He was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
