U.S. Representative Eli Crane, who serves Arizona’s 2nd district in Congress, posted a series of statements on October 21, 2025, criticizing Senate Democrats and expressing support for election integrity measures.

In a post from the early morning hours of October 21, Crane wrote: “Find yourself someone that fights for you the way senate democrats fight for the bottom lines of insurance companies.”

Later that day, he addressed the ongoing government shutdown with another message: “Democrats have shut the federal government down for over three weeks now. All because of an odd mix of Trump derangement syndrome, Schumer’s political fear of AOC, and some insecurity over Obamacare being exposed for causing healthcare costs to skyrocket.”

In a third statement posted in the afternoon, Crane turned his attention to voting laws: “In our constitutional republic, only American citizens should be able to vote. Requiring proof of citizenship is a commonsense safeguard to ensure the integrity of our elections. Thank you to @America1stLegal and @SenTedCruz for your leadership.”

Eli Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane has focused on issues including healthcare policy and election security during his tenure.
