Dr. Selina Bliss, a Republican member of the Arizona State House representing the 1st House District since 2023, recently shared updates about her legislative work and recognition on social media.
On March 15, 2026, Bliss posted, “It is an extreme honor to be among the 38 legislators in the US selected for the 2026 Class of Emerging Leaders @GOPAC https://t.co/PBB0K6a9Rd”. This tweet highlights her selection as one of only 38 legislators nationwide for GOPAC’s Emerging Leaders program.
Two days later, on March 17, she announced her sponsorship of a new bill: “It is my honor to sponsor HB 2046 (annual probation review; prehearing; notification) to protect victim rights https://t.co/sRMx6Fgt2H”. The bill aims to enhance protections for victims by instituting annual probation reviews and improving notification procedures before hearings.
In a subsequent post that same day, Bliss wrote simply: “Going viral https://t.co/6OmLaGiKHo”.
Bliss succeeded Judy Burges in representing Arizona’s 1st House District after being elected in 2023. She has been active in both state-level legislative initiatives and national leadership development programs.
