The Cottonwood Historic Preservation Commission has announced that the Cottonwood Historic Property Tour will return in 2025. The event is scheduled to take place during the Walkin’ on Main festival in Old Town Cottonwood on November 8. Tours will depart every 30 minutes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The tour offers participants an opportunity to learn about the history of local properties and notable figures from the area. According to organizers, “Knowledgeable docents will inform you of local lore and key information highlighting each stop’s significance.”

Tickets for the tour can be purchased at the Historic Preservation Commission’s booth during Walkin’ on Main for $5 each. Proceeds from ticket sales will go toward supporting the commission’s 50/50 Small Grant Funding Program, which provides grants for historic landmarked properties.

This year’s sponsors include Taylor & Sons Hauling, Inc. and Wired-Up Systems, LLC.
