The Cottonwood Historic Preservation Commission has announced a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the City Council Chambers located at Riverfront, 1083 E. Riverfront Road in Cottonwood.
On the agenda for new business are two items: the Cultural Sensitivity Map and CA-25-005, which is a Certificate of Appropriateness for a contributing property known as Iron Horse Inn. The commission will also discuss a recap of the 2025 Property Tour.
Community members are encouraged to submit comments to the Community Development Planner by noon on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. There will be an opportunity for verbal comments during each hearing item at the meeting. “The Chair may impose a time limit on each speaker,” according to information from city officials. Written materials submitted less than three working days before the meeting will not be considered by the commission.
If this meeting is unexpectedly canceled or if any agenda item is removed, that item may be heard at the next regularly scheduled Historic Preservation Commission meeting. Materials related to these agenda items can be reviewed in person at the Community Development Department office at 111 North Main Street in Cottonwood during regular business hours.
For further information or questions about participation, residents can contact Kristina Hayden, Community Development Senior Planner, at (928) 634-5505 Ext. 3320 or khayden@cottonwoodaz.gov.
